Day -1, Bangkok to Tel aviv

Woke from upset sleep on the plane and find we are flying over Jerusalem. The crew who were standing near the service station chating with Israeli passengers, stoped and gazed at the blur of that ancient city. A golden dome of musque glow thru the morning smog like a jam of infinite price attracting the hearts and admoration of those who gazed upon it.
Set my foot on Tel aviv early, very early...surprised that I still have energy to walk thru that vast space of Ben Gurion airport.
Took the train to Tel aviv but got off, by mistake, two stops before the central station. Found myself in a half constructed train station where platforms are still being furnished.
All this time with my big, fat loggage with me...
not much to be seen in Tel aviv...might as well head for Haifa...
